  • Online Course

Our convenient online Ohio Driver Education course satisfies the required 24 hours of classroom instruction needed to apply for your first Ohio Driver's License. The goal of this course is to educate young Ohio drivers in safe driving and to reduce the risk of driving on Ohio roadways by providing first-time drivers with accurate information. Topics will include familiarization with vehicles, basic vehicle control, traffic laws, advice for operating in inclement weather and more.

Key benefits of completing online include:

    • Complete anywhere, on any device
    • Fast certificate shipment to get started on your driver training
    • Less expensive than classroom courses
    • 24/7 student support
  • Teen Behind-the-Wheel Only

Our teen driver's education classes prepare students to pass state licensing requirements by providing them with the knowledge and skills to become safe drivers. Overbeke School of Driving serves beginning drivers throughout the East Side suburbs. Consequently, Overbeke students boast one of the highest first-time pass rates in the state of Ohio.

While preparing to become a licensed driver, your teenager will need to complete 24 hours of drivers education classes paired with 8 hours of behind the wheel driving. Overbeke's Behind the Wheel driving lessons satisfy the State of Ohio's requirements for driver's education for drivers under age 18. Per state law, teens can begin in-class lessons when they are 15.5 years old.

     Requirements:

    • Must have your certificate of enrollment and/or completion from an online provider in order to go on in-car lessons.
    • Must have a valid temporary permit
  • Traditional Drivers Education

An updated Behind the Wheel Contract will need to be signed and delivered to the school prior to your students lesson. Please read thru the screening questions before your students lesson.

    2. For your protection, our instructors have all been provided masks that will be worn during the driving lesson.

    3. We have purchased disposable thermometers to confirm that each student is fever free at the start of the lesson. Any student who has a fever of 100.2F or higher will not be permitted to have a driving lesson.

    4. The 50.00 cancellation fee will not apply in the event that your child has a fever at the time the temperature is taken.
